Saba Unveils Keynote Line-up for “Innovations 2005”

Leading Industry Visionaries and Premier Saba Customers to Offer a Glimpse into Future Human Capital Management Trends and to Share Leadership Best Practices

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. May 24, 2005 – Saba (NASDAQ: SABA), a leading provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions, today unveiled the agenda and featured presenters for Innovations 2005, Saba’s User Group Conference, to be held June 27-29, 2005 at the Hotel Sofitel in Redwood Shores. Embracing the theme “How Will You Lead?” Innovations 2005 is designed to bring together global customers to collaborate on HCM trends and share best practices. Hands-on user sessions featured throughout the conference will also offer an opportunity for Saba customers to provide real-world input that will impact future research & development for the Saba Enterprise solution suite.

Keynotes and Panel Sessions
Featured keynote addresses will be delivered by senior Saba executives as well as industry thought-leaders, and will cover a variety of leadership topics. Innovations 2005 will open with a curtain-raiser address from Bobby Yazdani, Saba Chairman and CEO, aimed at providing Saba customers and partners with an update on corporate vision and product direction. Other featured presentations include:

  • Tony Rutigliano, Chief Learning Officer of ADP, will discuss how ADP, a highly successful company with a long track record of sustained growth and customer retention, is seeking to enhance its culture and success through associate learning and development.
  • Bill Kutik, Technology Columnist, Human Resource Executive® Magazine and Co-Chairman of the HR Technology® Conference, will moderate a panel discussion on the latest technology trends in HR, including its use to align employee performance with corporate strategy. The panel features industry experts from Aberdeen, IBM, Knowledge Infusion and Ventana Research.
  • Steve Rae, Vice President of Services, IBM Learning Solutions and James Sharpe, Director of e-Learning Technology, IBM Learning Solutions, will deliver a keynote on The Future of Learning.

Innovations 2005 will also feature a host of customer sessions led by leading authorities from Deloitte, EMC, Nissan and Swedbank, among others. These sessions will provide peers with a wide variety of best practices to maximize investments in Human Capital Management solutions as they relate to Global Governance, Customer Education, Change Management and Competency Management.

Additionally, Knowledge Infusion, a strategic HCM consultancy, will lead a practical business case workshop with tools and best practices to support customers in planning migrations to Saba Enterprise 2005.
