Industry Thought Leader Joins Saba to Propel Delivery of Human Capital Management Solutions

Company fortifies industry and market leadership with addition of seasoned expert

REDWOOD SHORES, CALIF., July 25, 2005 —Saba (NASDAQ: SABA), a leading provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions, today announced that it has expanded its product marketing team with the addition of Tracy Martin as senior director in charge of strategic solutions and marketing. In this role, Martin is responsible for driving the HCM vision for the company. Additionally, she will lead a marketing team to develop and implement innovative product and services marketing strategies.

Martin brings more than 18 years of experience in HCM and human resources management to Saba, with significant expertise in product marketing, product development, partner development, sales strategy and market analysis. Prior to joining Saba, Martin was a human capital management analyst with META Group, researching and assessing the market and vendor landscape of the industry. Before joining META Group, Martin was senior director of product marketing with Callidus Software, where she oversaw the launch strategy and execution for the company’s flagship product and introduced several new products that received industry accolades. Martin also has served as director of global HCM strategy for PeopleSoft, where she was the lead strategist for more than 30 HCM solutions and products.
