Saba 5.3 was also certified compliant with the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) – Priority 1. This independent certification confirms that Saba’s industry leading HCM suite meets key international accessibility standards.

Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 requires federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities in a manner comparable to that provided to people without disabilities. The regulation also requires that systems developed or procured by federal agencies, including those through private contractors, meet this accessibility standard. The W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative sets web content and accessibility guidelines for web applications. Like Section 508, the intent of the guidelines is to ensure that people with disabilities have comparable web information and technology access to people without disabilities. This guideline is commonly used in many European countries as the standard for web content accessibility.
