Saba Unveils Comprehensive Hosted Service for Human Capital Management

Saba Offers EMEA Customers an Affordable, Convenient Hosting Service from within Europe

LONDON, 30 April, 2007 Saba, the premier Human Capital Management (HCM) software and services provider, today announced that its customers will be offered local hosting in Europe for the first time, providing cost, performance and compliance benefits. The hosting services, rolled out in conjunction with USi, an AT&T company, are already up and running.

Saba’s decision to use USi as its EMEA hosting partner follows a successful seven year partnership with USi in North America, which is now extended to Europe through the USi Data Centre based in Amsterdam.  EMEA customers will benefit from a seamless implementation process, and be able to leverage USi’s own information assurance and security practices, reducing the need for Saba customers to perform their own audits and certifications.

Additionally, Saba’s hosting services will benefit from USi’s custom application monitors, which track availability 24 hours a day, seven days a week and automatically alert trained team members to any unplanned outages. Saba can access these monitors at any time via a secure web portal, while Saba’s customers with dedicated environments can also request access to custom monitoring.

The collaboration with USi will be supported by a dedicated global hosting team, led by Cary Fulbright, Vice President & General Manager, OnDemand Business Unit, which also includes a local hosting support team located in the UK.  The move follows the company’s recent announcement of its expanded line of Saba OnDemand offerings, which provide best-in-class learning management, performance and talent management, and real-time learning and collaboration delivered as a service over the Internet. The new European data centre will serve Saba’s OnDemand and Hosting customers across EMEA.
